Governance and association life<\/strong><\/p>\n The Center must represent a model of ethical action for the community and must contribute to supporting organisations. (Stanstead, Beebe, Rock-Island Regional Benevolent Society), was founded and incorporated in 1980.<\/p>\n In 1994, Mr. Reginald Rediker donated the former Catholic boy\u2019s school in Beebe to the Volunteer Center and, in honour of this generous donation, the Center\u2019s name was officially changed to the R.H. This process \u2013 called filtering \u2013 is applied to all volunteers and includes police record checks. <\/p>\n The volunteer respects the rules and regulations of the Center.<\/p>\n Volunteer drivers must show proof of automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license every year.<\/p>\n The rules of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u2019assurance automobile du Qu\u00e9bec (SAAQ) apply in any case of accident which has caused injuries to the volunteer driver, a beneficiary or a third party.<\/p>\nHistory<\/h2>\n
